In this performance piece, I talked to Nebraska farmers and their neighbors and recorded their stories about living and farming in the small town of Marquette, Nebraska. Next, I dug a hole in the middle of an old corn crib barn and placed speakers near the hole. During the performance, I climbed into the hole and asked those who came to see the performance to enter the barn and help fill the hole with corn while they listened to a broadcast of their neighbor's stories.
