This piece was created with a gold mail slot embedded at eye level on the reverse side. People are encouraged to write down a hope or a fear on a piece of paper and insert their writing into the mail slot. In the future, I will open the mailbox and incorporate their writings, together with the hopes and fears they represent into an evolving form of the sculpture.
